MEET THE JUDGES – #FashionFiesta17
As part of the event, we have enlisted the help of some of Yorkshire’s most successful entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals in industries relating to Fashion Fiesta. All proceeds from the show are in aid of the Bradford based charity One in a Million fronted by Wayne Jacobs, co founder and previous Bradford City footballer who will be a judge on this years panel. Joining him on the panel are a host of seasoned entrepreneurial professionals from in and around Bradford/Leeds who will be lending their skilled eye on the hunt for talent.

Victoria Wainwright, Managing Partner of Bradford based accountants NaylorWintersgill is one of many Bradford/Leeds based professionals also on the panel. Victoria has an impressive portfolio of around 250 clients from a range of industry sectors, Vicky’s focusses include financial planning for small-medium owner managed businesses. Sarah Tulip COO at AQL will also feature, With an award-winning background stretching more than 15 years in talent acquisition, Sarah has worked with companies throughout the UK to advise, transform or improve their current staff and recruitment processes, delivery and strategies. Yorkshire’s own H&N magazine editor Angela Riches will be lending her fashion and lifestyle editing eye to young hopefuls showcasing their designs at the show! Stacey Irving joins us from her flourishing cosmetic business to advise on how to grow a business like she grew her own.
Stacey has created a range of services that are highly valued and cost effective to assist companies with their product development processes Jane Bytheway is chipping in her exclusive business coaching skills to harness young talent and advice on utilising skills and maximising results. Commercial Director of JCI United Kingdom Service Phil Cockayne will be joining us on the judging panel. Phillip sits on the board of a Keighley-based social enterprise (Get Out More CIC) which runs outdoor activities and workshops for children and corporates to improve health and well-being. He is excited to be working closely with One in a Million, a charity with similar interests to his ongoing projects. Helen Rhodes is bringing her passion for fashion along with her knowledge of running a small local business. Helen is the Managing Director of shoe brands ‘Shoenique’ and Poppy Red based in Ilkley. Managing Partner of Blacks Solicitors LLP Chris Allen will be stepping out of the world of law and into the world of fashion, bringing with him his expert knowledge of business and finally Fran Parkinson works for Leeds Beckett University’s network of University Business Centres which have been operating for more than 17 years supporting over 800 businesses to accelerate their growth. With a varied and seasoned team, we are excited for our designers and makeup artists to showcase their talent in the company of some of Yorkshire’s leading business people.
